About
My name is Kristan Dela Cruz, a recent chemical engineering graduate from the University of Washington. I have a data science minor with a strong focus on computational modeling for biotechnology and bioprocessing.
Currently, I am looking for a job that allows me to be a creative engineer and utilize my wide array of skills. I want to analyze data and use my troubleshooting skills as a chemical engineer to bring solutions to life. In combination with my engineering skills, data visualization, machine learning, and scientific computation are some strong techniques I constantly use.
As a chemical engineer, I am qualified for traditional engineering roles, but my specialization gives me additional experience in fields such as wet-lab work, R&D, bioinformatics, software engineering, and data science. The intersection of data science and engineering solutions fascinates me and has some of the most important problems concerning our world.
I still want to be an engineer, but one who is updated, equipped with all the tools available. Thank you for visiting. I would love the opportunity to connect with you about anything!
